Sheep classingStraban Merinos believe in offering a complete service to the grower not only selling high quality rams that perform in commercial operations but also incorporating sheep classing and technical assistance with wool preparation. As well as buying the correct rams it is important that your ewe base is classed annually to receive the maximum genetic gain. This process need not be complicated, having two joining groups, wool and frame ewes, and also select the cull ewes that do not meet your requirements.
Rob has had a long association with the wool industry including time with wool buying wool brokering companies. Rob is a registered SRS® sheep classer and has been sheep classing for 10 years and his client base currently covers eastern Australia.
